Starting on Monday, March 20, as part of the celebrations for the 60th Anniversary of the Signature of the Treaty of Rome, that officially instituted the European Economic Community on March 25, 1957, the Political Science Department will promote four study days dedicated to Europe (hashtag: #MaratonaEuropea).

The conferences, which will involve teachers and students of all degree programmes, will review the steps of the European integration process and will address the current European crisis and the future of Europe.

The opening meeting on March 20 will address "Between Now and Not Yet: Shared Sovereignty in Budget Matters between Member States and the European Union" with Stefano Ceccanti and Deputy Minister of the Economy Enrico Morando.

On Friday, March 24, "Europe of Rights, a Europe of Borders" will feature speakers Vladimiro Zagrebelsky, Andrea Bixio, Carlo Curti Gialdino, Tito Marci, Sergio Marchisio, Raffaella Messinetti, Luca Scuccimarra.
