Sapienza Improves International Ranking

Sapienza University confirms its placement amongst the top Italian universities and its ranking of excellence at the global level.

CENSIS

CENSIS, an Italian socio-economic research centre founded in 1964, has published its annual ranking of public and private Italian universities. The analysis is based on a series of benchmarks - services, scholarships and grants, structures, communication, digital services and internationalisation – in relation to the number of enrolled students.

Amongst large universities, with over 40,000 enrolled students, Sapienza has improved its position from last year’s fifth to this year’s fourth place, increasing its score from 85.2 to 86.8. The result was obtained thanks to a significant improvement in student services, communication and digital services, as well as the university’s growing internationalisation.
