On November 6-8, Sapienza University will host an international conference dedicated to "1917-2017. A Bright Future? The Impact of the October Revolution on Human Sciences. Balances and Perspectives" organised by Claudia Scandura, Professor of Linguistic and Intercultural Mediation, and Ornella Discacciati, Professor of Russian Language and Literature at the Tuscia University.

The conference wants to drive a critical discussion on the October Revolution, from a multidisciplinary perspective in the field of human sciences. It will address topics related to literature, history, fashion, art, cinema and theatre, economics and society.

The event will be introduced by Claudio Zambianchi, Director of MLAC, and by Antonello Biagini, President of the Roma Sapienza Foundation.

The conference, which features the participation of numerous scholars from international universities and research centers, has been developed in collaboration with Tuscia University, the MLAC - Laboratory Museum of Contemporary Art, the Faculty of History at the Moscow State University and IRRI - the Institute of Russian Realist Art in Moscow.
