Falling Walls Lab Rome

The Falling Walls Foundation organises the annual Falling Walls Conference, a global event that brings together the most visionary and innovative thinkers from over 75 countries. Every year, on November 9, 20 top researchers present their ideas through 15-minute pitches. The Falling Walls Foundation is funded by the German Ministry for Education and Research, the Robert Bosch Foundation, the Helmholtz Association and a number of other prestigious academic institutions, foundations and enterprises. 

Participate in the Falling Walls Lab Rome

The call is open for Falling Walls Lab Rome, which will be held - for the first time in Italy - at Sapienza University of Rome on October 4, 2018. Falling Walls Labs are a series of meetings held around the world by young talents and researchers who showcase their innovative and revolutionary projects to a jury of experts, including both academics and entrepreneurs. The winner will have the opportunity to participate in the Final Falling Walls Lab (Berlin, November 8) and the Falling Walls Conference on November 9. 

To participate in the Falling Walls Lab Rome, you must hold a Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate degree (received in the last 10, 7 or 5 years, respectively) or be a student or university researcher (PhD or post-doctoral) 

Application deadline is September 13, 2018.
