On Wednesday, May 23, Sapienza University and MuSa – Music at Sapienza will host the renowned Berkeley Wind Ensemble directed by Robert Calonico. 

The event, which is coordinated by the “Centro Sapienza Crea – New University Threatre,” will feature the last performance of the short European tour by the famous American university orchestra.

The fifty-musician strong Berkeley Wind Ensemble will be introduced by Sapienza’s MuSa Classica Orchestra, directed by Maestro Francesco Vizioli, which will perform the first movement of Schubert’s “Unfinished Symphony.” The American ensemble will perform music by Holst, Lauridsen, Bernstein, Grainger, Aquilanti and other famous composers.

Entrance is free and parking is available on campus.
