The following agenda will help you keep track of what you need to do, month by month, to successfully apply to Sapienza University as an international student holding a non-Italian degree.

OCTOBER – APRIL

Start gathering information on the university, degree programme and courses you are interested at fairs, information days, the university website and social media channels.

 

OCTOBER - JULY

Contact Sapienza University for further information on admissions, tuition fees, degree programmes and/or courses, services and information on life in Italy (VISA, residence permit, cost of life, transport and room and board, health system and insurance, banking system, communications, etc.).

 

NOVEMBER – APRIL

Present your pre-selection application for free access programmes in English.

 

APRIL – JULY

Present your pre-admission application to the Italian Embassy or Consular Office nearest to you to receive your Value Declaration and Diploma Supplement)

JULY – AUGUST

1. Request your VISA.

2. Start looking for housing

SEPTEMBER

Upon arrival at Sapienza University in Rome, you should:

1. Obtain a Residence Permit

2. Obtain Health Insurance

3. Get ready for life in Rome (housing, banking account, etc.)

4. Make sure you have all the documents and documentation (including any necessary admission tests) to complete your registration process.

Lessons usually begin by the end of September.

 

SEPTEMBER – OCTOBER

Complete registration process and pay tuition fees.
