Tax Code (codice fiscale)

The Tax Identification Code is compulsory for opening a bank account in Italy.

If your non-EU exchange period is greater than 6 months you will need the Tax Identification Code for enrolment.

The International office can provide you with your Tax code before your arrival, if you get your visa well before your travel date. As soon as you receive your visa, send a scanned copy of your passport and visa to: infoecw@uniroma1.it We will then send you the application form for your tax code with further instructions.
