School for Advanced Studies Inaugurates Academic Year

On Thursday, February 15, the Sapienza School for Advanced Studies will inaugurate the academic year at the Amaldi Lecture Hall of the Physics Building.

The ceremony, which will be opened by Sapienza Rector Eugenio Gaudio, will include addresses by Irene Bozzoni, Director of the School of Advanced Studies; Marc Mézard, Director of the École normale supérieure and students Tancredi Pentimalli and Giorgio Barnabò. Flavia Bustreo, former WHO Deputy Director for Family, Women and Children’s Health will hold a lecture entitled “Women and Children in a Smiling World.”

At the end of the ceremony, diplomas will be presented to the students who have completed their course of study at the School.
