Sapienza Researcher Receives FCC Week Innovation Award


Eleonora Belli, a PhD student in Accelerator Physics at the Sapienza Basic and Applied Sciences for Engineering Department, received the 2017 FCC Week Innovation Award for her contribution to the International Future Circular Collider Project.

The ceremony was held during the annual meeting of the Future Circular Collider Study that was organized in Berlin by CERN and DESY.

The annual meetings of the worldwide Future Circular Collider Study (FCC) are major international events that review the progress in every domain that is relevant to develop feasible concepts for a next generation frontier particle accelerator based on high-energy physics research infrastructure.
