MEGUMI: KIDNAPPING AND NORTH KOREAN SPIES

On Tuesday, April 10, the Italian Department of Oriental Studies will host the presentation of Antonio Moscatello’s book entitled “MEGUMU. Stories of Kidnapping and North Korean Spies” (Rogiosi editore, 2017).

The book reports on the disappearance of a thirteen-year-old Japanese student, Megumi, in 1977, facing the issues of kidnappings by North Korean spies in the greater context of issues and conflicts that remain unresolved.

The book presentation will be introduced by Marco Del Bene, Professor at the Sapienza Insitute for Oriental Studies.

Entrance is free as long as seats are available.
