The Cyber Intelligence and Information Security Research Centre (CIS) at Sapienza University has created the first cybersecurity training programme for university students.
This is a great opportunity Information Technology enthusiasts equipped with curiosity, energy and a good knowledge of IT. Everything else will be discovered on the field, learning about the fascinating mechanisms used in malware, software vulnerabilities, the most efficient defence systems and ethical hacking.
Students may participate free of charge. Registration deadline is January 25, 2017. In February, applicants will have to take an entrance examination. The course, which includes specific training sessions and special seminars, is set to begin in March and end in May 2017.
The course will end with a final challenge based on the knowledge acquired during the previous months. Finalists will test their new skills to demonstrate their talents combatting malware and eliminating risks and vulnerable points in software.
