A new call has been published for the China-Italy Science, Technology & Innovation Week 2017, the main Italian platform for scientific and technological cooperation with China. The initiative is promoted by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and coordinated by the Naples “Città della Scienza.”

The China-Italy Science, Technology & Innovation Week, which will be held in China on November 13-17, 2017, is open to public and private enterprises and organisations (research centres, universities, enterprises, start-ups, innovative districts, scientific and technological parks and trade associations) based in Italy that are interested in potential clients and partners in China.

The event, one-on-one meetings and work sessions are all free, but registration is required on the Italymatchmaking platform and acceptance by the coordinator. The deadline for registration is October 15, 2017 for one-to-one meetings and October 30, 2017 for the general event.

The main objective of the call is to match high-tech firms that wish to promote and sell products, services and innovative capabilities, promote technological and scientific excellence, strengthen bilateral exchange and promote cooperation amongst enterprise and research to catalyse innovation.

The 2017 edition will focus on the following areas: aerospace, agriculture & food, green chemistry, life sciences and health, clean tech and the environment, energy, sustainable mobility, blue growth, ICT, design and creative industries, smart cities, tourism and cultural heritage, education, and all socio-economic aspects.
